Travel Placement Service, Inc. "Doing What Matters for Jobs and the Economy"
Travel Placement Service, Inc. in conjunction with the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office "Doing What Matters for Jobs and the Economy" successfully arranged a rare onboard tour for 30 select high school students from the Los Angeles and Orange County area to tour the Grand Princess cruise ship in the Port of Long Beach on March 22, 2016. With a goal to encourage career pathways in the travel and tourism industry, the students first visited The TravelStore in Irvine to learn about various positions in an agency before traveling to Long Beach for a behind-the-scenes tour and lunch courtesy of Princess Cruises. Cheryl Rodgers responded "I believe the students walked away with a new view on what the travel industry has to offer for a career. I was thrilled to gain the support of Princess Cruises!"
