Job Seeker FAQ’s

What can Travel Placement Service do for me that I can't do for myself?

Travel Placement Service is one of the most respected in the country for placing experienced travel personnel with exciting travel agency entities and corporations. We have developed our stellar reputation and success rate thanks to more than two decades of developing ongoing relationships with travel industry leaders and giants. We started in Southern California over two decades ago and have expanded to handle placements across the entire country. We have connections with all of the major travel companies to get you “THE interview” you have been wanting. The staff at Travel Placement Service is comprised of former travel professionals who understand what you’ve done, the technology you have under your belt (Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus, etc), and can help you get to where you want to go in your career.

Does Travel Placement Service place only travel agents?

No. We place employees in all types of travel industry jobs, including corporate, entertainment, leisure, cruise, group, training, management, accounting, incentive, wholesale, and more!

Does it cost me anything to use your services?

No. Travel Placement Service is entirely employer retained. We present you and your experience and talent to prospective employers.

Why would the employer pay you when I can go to them for nothing?

Large, reputable companies receive thousands of resumes per day. Often, they don’t have the time to go through all of them. They retain us to save them time and money. These companies understand our value in the industry and trust our experience to bring them talented professionals that match their needs. Our reputation is a great asset that allows you access to employers building on our relationships.

Does Travel Placement Service only do temporary placements?

No we have about a 50/50 split. We have employers who want both, so we give you the option of doing temporary or permanent placement.

With so many jobs available, why would someone want to do temporary work?

There are many reasons why people chose temporary work. The most common is flexibility. Also, it gives the employees the opportunity to try out various companies. Another advantage of doing temporary work is getting your foot in the door. Many times, an employee’s resume does not meet the requirements for a permanent position in a company. Temporary assignments provide the opportunity to prove to an employer that you can do the job.
